The Fruit of History

 


  Conducting our CBR is not easy, we need to gather more facts that will support our study about that certain community. In our team we are all from Caoayan so we concluded to make research about our municipality and Ma'am Evelyn gave us a topic and our topic is all about the history and society of our municipality. We are given a task to explore the rich history of Caoayan, not just by researching but also hearing those story personally. But at first, we did our research online, just the basic informations about our municipality.


  As what we said researching online is not enough so we decided to do an interview among the people of Caoayan especially focusing on the 3 Barangay's of Caoayan which is Don Dimas Querubin, Don Alejandro Quirolgico and Don Lorenzo Querubin. We want to hear where this 3 Barangay's came from, we want it to hear directly from the heart and from what the people really experienced.

 

  First, we interview the current Barangay captain of Don Dimas Querubin- Ma'am Jennifer Ann Reyes Querubin, by her story we realized so many things about the past. But for us to further understand the history of their Barangay, the Barangay captain gave us a printed information about the brief history of Barangay Don Dimas Querubin.





  Second, we go to Barangay Don Lorenzo Querubin, and in that place we able to interview the first council of that Barangay and for tha past years he served as Barangay captain also for the past 15 years. Just like what we did in Barangay Don Dimas Querubin, we also gather a lot of information from him about their community.



  In Barangay Don Alejandro Quirolgico we didn't able to interview a public servant so we come up to just interview the people of that Barangay for us to also gather information about their lovely Barangay.


  Overall, our story in conducting our CBR is not easy. We need to socielize for us to gather what we need but upon hearing the story of those three Barangay's is such a heart warming, we felt the love and story of our community that came from the heart of Caoayanos. This CBR helps us to gather more knowledge about our municipality that we will surely share to the future and will surely be proud of.

MEANINGFUL QUATER TWO WITH HTML

  This quarter I gained so much knowledge and valuable insights from the world of HTML codes and tags. I learned how to make web pages using tags like <html>,<body>,<head> and elements such as <h1> to <h6> for headings, <p> for paragraph and <a> for hyperlinks. Unlocking how these codes work and function was both exciting and rewarding. I learned making tables, inserting images, files and more. This lesson is very advanced and I'm happy that we encounter this as early as now for us to have a knowledge for the future. Not just about tags and codes but also I learned how to manage my time in doing all of my hands on activities for me to pass it on time.     Despite the happiness and excitement, I also faced challenges especially on interpreting what codes or tags I will use. There's so many tags and codes that it comes to the point thay I don't know what to use anymore, like the difference of using bg body color and body background....

A New Learnings

   In the third quarter, I learned a lot about web development, especially HTML and how websites are organized. I discovered how to use HTML frames to divide a webpage into sections, which helps in creating a clear layout. I also explored HTML lists, which made it easier for me to organize content on a page. Learning about Content-Based Retrieval (CBR) was another interesting discovery, as it showed me how web pages can search for and display relevant content based on what users are looking for. This gave me a better understanding of how websites work behind the scenes.  However, I did face some challenges. One of the main difficulties was working with HTML frames. It was tricky to get everything aligned correctly, and sometimes the layout didn’t look the way I wanted. I also struggled with CBR, especially in figuring out how to use it to make the content retrieval process smooth.
